The volume of the commercials is MUCH louder then the movies. Can these be programmed to mirror the movie volume? It is annoying to where I dont mind the commercials like regular TV except of the volume now!
The same situation exists on conventional television. I don't remember when it started but I've noticed this for at least two decade. I've assumed that it is done on purpose to get the viewer's attention, just in he or she might have dosed off. Ever notice also that television advertisements also tend to be as bright and vibrant in lighting as can be?
I agree... I am ok with commercially sponsored content, but IMDb ads throughout the show and announcements at the beginning of the videos are cranked up so loud, I feel like they are screaming at me. I powered through the first 4 episodes but ultimately went to another service. It is exhausting to have your TV yelling at you on a regular basis. Or running for the mute button on the remote during every commercial break. There is a way to normalize the volume to match the audio content. IMDb, please consider using this for the sake of your audience.
