I know, there have been discussions about "rate TV-Series by season" and the ideas has been neglected - regrettably.
BUT with Anthology-Style TV-Series like True Detective or American Horror Story, you should probably think again. I see two possibilities:
1) Let People vote by season (it makes more sense then vote by episode)
2) Let every Season be it's own TV-Series in IMDB
As 1 has been neglected I would suggest No 2. So "AHS: Coven" will be one TV-Series in IMDB and "AHS: Asylum" a different one, just like Harry Potter 7 Pt1 and Pt2.
I think it's important, because many people think that Coven is great but Asylum is just ok, besides there are different characters, different actors, how could that be represented with ONE TV-Series Vote? After all these two ARE seperated TV-Series just under the same franchise.
After all, you would not have to change anything in the code of the site, just treat the seasons of an Anthology-Series like separate TV-Shows by using the subtitle. Easy solution (at least for the future). What do you think?
