Hi guys,

Have tried deleting the credit for Hugo from my page for a year and a half now to no avail - could you please let me know how to do it? The small scene I was in never made the final cut and is as such uncredited, and now looks awful on my CV.

Thank you so much in advance,

Alexandra

Actually, if your name didn't appear in rhe credits roll but you still appeared in the film and were easily recognizable in that scene, THEN the role could be listed as "uncredited" in order to be listed as credited your name MUST appear in the credit roll. If you name isn't in the credits and your scene was cut from the dime, you are not entitled to any listing.

In any event, please recognize that the IMDb name page about you is exactly that: a page ABOUT you. It isn't your page or your CV. IMDb provides a Resume service, for a fee, that serves that purpose.

If the facts you relate above are accurate then you should submit a deletion with the explanation that the scene was cut from the final version of the film. But, be aware, it is likely that staff will be leery of future submissions you make to the database and any submissions you make will likely require significant proof before getting accepted.
