I'll try and make this message as brief and to the point as possible. So, I understand now that this forum that I've joined is not a chat forum so that I can communicate with other members, but is simply a way to inquire about movies, T.V. series, celebrities, and stuff like that. I get all that, now. And so, I would appreciate it if perhaps Mr. Needham, the moderator of this forum, or whomever is willing to, could tell me exactly what it is I am allowed to do on this forum, in the way of asking questions or giving ideas or things of that nature, just so that I don't mess up in the future the way that I did with my "Introductions From A New Messenger!" post. Whatever any of you can tell would be greatly appreciated, okeydokey? Thank you, and good day to you all.

As I explained this is a site mainly for filmmakers, actors and crew and those with a special interest in film. If you are not one of those then maybe this site is not for you.
There are lots of good chat sites around and I'm sure you will find one suitable for you.

It's quite alright, Walter. I understand completely now what this site is for, and I'm totally with it, and I would like very much to stick with it, if it's okeydokey with you and with everyone else here, you dig? As a matter of fact, I'll check out the posts of the other members on this site first thing in the morning and give my complete and honest opinions of them, and perhaps do some of the polls on here as well. So wish me luck tomorrow, and thanks again for your help and advice, okeydokey?

Ryan: There are three main things that this board is for.
- Discussion of and suggestions for the IMDb polls (see http://www.imdb.com/poll/).
- Questions and problems regarding the operation of the IMDb web site, the IMDb apps, and contributing data to IMDb.
- Questions asking for information about particular movies or TV shows -- mostly about identifying particular movies or shows that a person can't remember. Example: "I am trying to remember a movie for the late 50's, I think. It was about a blonde female alien that did not speak, but killed anyone she touches, even a dog. She shimmered or glowed. People were in a cabin and could not get away from her. Her touch was electric." To which another person responded, "Sounds like THE ASTOUNDING SHE-MONSTER (1957)."
