What do with episodes of shows that should have aired but won't because of COVID-19

Tonight, Prodigal Son, aired it's season finale which is episode 20 of the first season. However, the season should have had 22 episodes but the last two do no exist and may never exit in their intended format due to the halting of filming of those episodes. Should we submit to have these episodes deleted? Leave them as place holders for (hopefully) future season episodes?

This question is probably addressed to the staff, but we should maybe wait until the quarantine is lifted to see if Fox intends to finish the season, I have read that they have not completely rejected this idea.

While I have heard that for other shows, tonight's episode was specifically advertised as the season finale. I don't think there will be any more episodes for this season. This show may or may not get renewed so it's hard to say if there will ever be any more episodes.

Should someone add to trivia that shows are not shown because of COVID-19 ? ?

Hi Adrian -

In this instance, I would suggest that it is acceptable to request a deletion of these episodes.  Once the series picks up again at a later time, if further episodes are aired we can easily add them.

Cheers!
