What is the policy for plot outlines/summaries in other languages?

"La Piloto" (2017) has plot outlines of every episode in Spanish, the language of the show. Should the outlines be left as-is or should English translations be provided? Or is English the only acceptable language for summaries and outlines?

I don't know who originally added the outlines, but I would be happy to provide translations if necessary.

The Help page for Plot Summaries says "Write in English, regardless of the language of the original film"

But evidently they do sometimes allow summaries in other languages

Although there is a spece to sign a Plot Summary. They don't appear to have signed the summaries for the episodes of "La Piloto" (2017)

Hi Amy -

As Steve mentioned above, Plot Outlines and Summaries should be written in the English language.  Therefore, if you see outlines or summaries on the episode title pages of this series in Spanish, you are welcome to submit the translation updates, replacing Spanish with English, through our online Update form.

If you happen to come across an outline, summary or even a synopsis that is in a non-English language, and if you know how to properly translate that language into English, then by all means, please submit an edit that replaces the original with the translation.

It's too bad than IMDb does not enforce the possibility to have several synopsis in as many languages (leaving the front seat to English). Or even link to a translator. But, well, they are rather easy to find...
Some years ago, IMDb used to have Web interfaces in Italian, German and French, which where removed when the smartphone app was released (that was the official reason...). Obviously weird decisions seems to be an IMDb trademark.

This is an excellent question. I have written plot summaries for a French television series in English. This series is extremely popular but never had subtitles (in either English or French) added. Because of its popularity and the probability of subtitling (in either language) happening before too long, making synopses/summaries/outlines, etc. available in *both* languages would seem a step in the right direction.
