Before Feb./2013 it was possible to access IMDb Germany, IMDb Italy, IMDb Spain and IMDb France, in their respective country domains. But now all they redirect to the English .com.

This is a slap in the face of international users, who contributed with content. All content is gone: reviews, summaries, forums, news, etc.

This is again a proof that web companies only care about profit, not people.
This is a decision taken from Amazon executives (owners of IMDb) to reduce the budget. "To hell with Germans, Italians, Spaniards and French. The should learn English". One phone call and it's done.
What makes me angry the most it's the quiet way it was done: without notice. But there's a thing that even scares me: the content is gone from search engines, and nobody talks about what happened.

@Giancarlo Cairella: BTW, we are not talking about "translated" sites: those were sites with *original* content (like Wikipedia), not just translated from English.

puzzled is not the right word for it. ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DID IMDB DO THIS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!! just one more way in which the site has taken another SWIPE at its faithful viewers. i gotta say, i may just quit the site altogether. this is TOTALLY unacceptable. TOTALLY unwarranted. i suspect it has something to do with ads revenues. who knows. so i have to go buy a TABLET now if i want to access the foreign language pages? that is unbelievable. IT ALL WENT DOWN HILL WHEN AMAZON TOOK OVER. it has steadily declined since then. one thing after another, has been taken away from (the, again, i repeat) FAITHFUL users. i feel so betrayed. so so so betrayed. and there is nothing i can do about it, except to maybe just stop using imdb. you guys are total jerks for doing this to the foreign users. JERKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
