Trolls belong under the bridge... during a seven plus scale earthquake.

I can handle some constructive criticism about my favorite actors/actresses. After all we all have different tastes. Heck I admit there have been some characters Meryl has played that I don't care for. Not because she performed them poorly, but because the films were not my cup of tea, and for me that put the performance off.

Poking fun at the way someone looks or talks is BULLYING plan and simple. Is that what you want to teach your children? That just because it's online, it's perfectly ok? I have news for you, cyber bullying is a crime too.

Wow how human.

Now what is human is a woman who picks and chooses her roles not because they will award her yet another Oscar nod, but because they have a message behind them, or are about real life people dealing with issues.

This is the actual post in the Meryl Streep Discussion board, and it was red flagged and I now have something that tells me I need to look at the TOS #2 & #3. Yet the 'trolls' I speak of have done far worse, actually attacking others. I want to know what in my above statement earned me a flag? Because if sticking up for another human is so wrong, I won't bother with IMDB anymore.

It's off topic and does not belong there.

Calling out trolls (or name-calling in general) will usually cause you to be reported.

It's better to report abuse then put them on ignore. Calling them names, or reacting to them in general, only makes them see they've succeeded in annoying you...which is the whole point of being an Internet troll.
