When I type my name in the Search window, a different name pops up. Not mine, why?

Do you mean the auto suggest? In which case it only suggests from most popular suggestions, not all possibilities....
You are the #1 search when I get close to your name and then run the search.

that's true on the PRO version only. Since I type byname in full in the search window, shouldn't my page come up?

No, it is true on both versions. The auto-suggestion does show up in Pro at the moment, but not in the basic version. However, if you click the Search button (magnifying glass icon in basis version) the full list of matching names is shown. Your name is at the top on both.
As mentioned by bob the moo in his reply, the dropdown suggestions are selected from a subset of names, not the full database, and apparently they use different subsets for the two versions.
