Hello Mel,

It seems you've landed on one of our test Title Pages. We're currently testing a new design for Title Pages that feature a grey color scheme. To add an item to your Watchlist on these pages, select the "+" banner located to the left of the title. This will add the title to your Watchlist immediately.

If you'd like to add the title to an existing or new list, simply hover your mouse over the "+" banner. A drop down menu with list options will appear.

I just had the same issue.
This is not a very clear design.
Add the word Watchlist somewhere so that I can Ctrl+F for it.
"+ Banner" is not obviously a watch list.

I too, have the "+" tab for adding to my Watchlist.  It is VERY discrete: just a + mark and is gray on black, next to the title of the movie on that movies main info page.
The messy thing is when I went to "help" pages to learn how to add the said film to my Watchlist, the "help" answer said to click on the tab that said "add to Watchlist".
Bad idea for the HELP answers to be referencing a DIFFERENT version of the IMDB graphics!

Finally! The cheese at the end of the maze, but it took me longer to find this correct answer than any other maze! I very much agree with Mike Tuell, "Bad idea for the HELP answers to be referencing a DIFFERENT version of the IMDB graphics!" For a disabled ol' granny such as myself, this is very troublesome because I tend to doubt myself before thinking that the site is actually messed up. I have looked at that stupid answer over and over trying to determine just how I've misread it and then gone off to search the Title page, from top to bottom and back up to top numerous times, looking for "add to Watchlist" someplace other than "People who liked this also liked... ". Somehow, I doubt that your typical IMDb viewer is going to come out here for their answers and there are likely to be many who will not even go to the Help section on the IMDb site. I don't have any issue with where this tab is or how it functions now that I know the correct place to look. This is really such a very useful and smart site, but encountering such frustrating problems seems unnecessary and it should be much easier to report these problems.

So, for everything else about the site, thank you so very much for a really informative and entertaining site. I not only use it several times per day myself, but I often refer others to the site when they are asking silly questions within comment sections - questions that are quickly and thoroughly answered with a trip to IMDb.

Hi Shauna,

Thank you for your feedback. Please allow me to apologize for the outdated information listed in our FAQ. I've edited the referenced FAQ to include instructions for how to add to your Watchlist via our redesigned Title Pages.

Trevor:

You've edited this page:  www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?watchlistfaq
On that page, you changed the "Add to Watchlist button" reference
to refer instead to "the '+' button".

Please also edit this page   www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?listgetstarted
Up to now, that page still refers to the "Add to Watchlist button".

...
BTW, note that some title pages still use the previous layout
with the "Add to Watchlist" button.  (See for example tt0803096.)
(Will IMDb fully standardize on the new layout eventually?)

I agree, now that I've been told where the add button is, it seems obvious, but I could not find it before I was told where to look. (And I looked a lot!) Please make the add button more obvious!!
