As a deaf person I rely so much on closed captioning, you guys have LONG time to fix this, and yet I still don’t see anything! I will continue to make noise if you have not done yet so! This is basically a violation against the very basic human rights for the deaf community! Please ADD! Also I realized I have two accounts sorry about that I will use this one from now on.

As a deaf person, I rely on closed captioning, why haven’t you guys add CC as an option? This is a truly violation against BASIC human rights for the deaf community. Please ADD!

Hi Patrick,

Thank you so much for your feedback.

I've changed this thread to an Idea, where it can be reviewed by other IMDB staff and users for consideration for future updates.

Please let us know if we can offer any further assistance.

Closed captioning seems to be a very big issue which IAM personally trying to bring it to the attention of the people who will make this happen this no reason in 2017 that a sight shouldn't have CC. Hang in their okay.

I am 1,000% on your (our) side.  My wife and I go crazy trying to make certain movies are captioned.  Like you I have to "read" a movie.  It should be easier to find out when it's been added.

On a side note, I would like to push the industry to establish a CC device standard.  I would very much like to buy my own viewer rather than trusting the morons at the theater to set up an unusable cup holder.

I want to keep this older thread alive as I, also, am frustrated that IMDB does not have a Closed Captioning option. I'm an avid movie fan and use your site multiple times daily yet am always missing out on dialogue due to the absence of Closed Captioning. Please Please PLEASE take this seriously and do something about it. Thank you.
