Are you actually waiting until the credit submission is rejected? 3 times in 2 months might not be leaving enough time to update the credits. One way you can read the re-submitting guidelines is that this resets the clock by adding you to the back of the queue again, so in theory you might never get it seen if you keep re-submitting.

If they have been rejected then resubmit with a screenshot of the credits - add a link to the place you upload the image into the Miscellaneous Comments section with some text for context so the submissions stay joined up.

I had never seen or heard of the Misc comments section. I now see they are way down at the bottom of the submission page. I will try this after I have given my latest submission several weeks to update. I wish IMDB would have made this clearer in their help page directions.

thank you very much Emperor

Site founder Col Needham has said they need to improve the system for adding supporting material, as the Misc Comms trick is more a workaround and what is really need is an extra field when you add a credit which will allow you to upload directly to that so everything gets submitted together.

For better results, rather than include a link as a Misc Comment, I would recommend these alternatives:

1) contact us via this forum (GetSatisfaction) and add images/links here.

or

2) use the following form:

http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/data_verification

We are working on a better way to allow users to submit supporting evidence along with their submission, but for now these two options offer a better way to do this than a comment.

I see this has now been announced on the main forum:
http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000042/n...

Would it be possible to update the contributors guide/FAQ to include information on this?

Yes, this is in progress. It will take a bit to update all our docs, but it should be done within a couple of days.

I am not a cast but a crew member and need help getting my credit.  I am working on a Major Feature in two (2) crew title positions.  I submitted both and have only been given credit for one (1).  I have pay stubs with the titles and Production Reports with both titles, but don't know how to submit this info.  They are not URL's but paper docs that I can take pictures of.  Please help.  All the info above is for URLs and everything else asks for screen grabs.

Screen grabs are the best "proof" of a credit.  If all you have are documents, you can still submit them and hope they are accepted.

Keep in mind, processing can take from 2 days to 2 weeks.  Is it possible you haven't waited long enough?  That another submitted has come up already is not indication a second one  won't come up eventually.  But, if you've waited and want to add proof, you can scan or even use a digital camera or cell phone and photograph them.  They can be uploaded into a message on this board (I'd start a thread as it has nothing to do with the thread you've posted this message on) by clicking the photo upload, camera icon.  If it has private information you don't want to post on a public message board, you can either drop it into "drop box" and send a link (that's the safest-and drop box is very cool) to it.  You could, then, delete it from drop box once it's been processed and it is no longer visible anywhere.  Or, you can  upload it to a pic hosting site, like tinypic.com and use the link to the pic.  Send those on the form mentioned http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/data_verification
