Who approves trivia?

Does anyone approve/edit trivia info? Do they even check for accuracy? Robocop (1987) The trivia states in the attempted rape scene (2nd time of Robocops appearance) that the woman was "clearly" shot in the abdomen, to hit the guys ummm testicles. That is actually not the case. You can see him dropping her. If he shot her in the abdomen, the guy would have been dead. It is a continuous scene, so that's easily spottable.

That is not trivia it is a goof. And it is correct.
The bullet hole clearly has been moved down her skirt in the end of the scene.
Here is the video.....

So it is accurate.

The trivia items and goof items are grouped together under the heading "trivia" in the X-Ray menu found on Amazon Video apps.

Got it. I'm used to PC's in the Fun Stuff Section
You'd think they would mirror each other to avoid user confusion!

Don't want to point out clothes, but check the location in the design of the skirt when the bullet hits. Then check the location of the bullet hole in the end of the scene. Not the hole compared to the ground, but as to where the hole is located within the design the skirt. You can also see that the skirt drops a tiny bit after the guy let go of her, which makes it seem that the hole moved closer to the bottom, but it's not.

Another interesting thing here is that there is no way the bullet could have struck the perpetrator in his family's jewels, according to the camera shot in which the bullet hole appears, because in that shot, he is lifting the victim up off the ground. It's all messed up.

True. No jewels.
In the upper pic the little "ear is within an inch of the crossed line.
In the lower pic the hole is at least 4" away from that same line pattern.

The lower is centered and is of a different pattern
The top is smaller, higher, and it has an upward "Ear"

Okay. This is awkward. So, basically the filmmakers intended to the shot to appear as though the discharged slug just barely grazed the victim's vulva, but the way it looks to some audiences, she was shot right directly in the birth canal. Perhaps one of the people contributing to the item did not feel comfortable with making a direct reference to genitalia. I would use the phrase "pelvic region". Or is that beside the point? Regardless, this scene has been debated, every so often, since 1987. (I've seen people trying to analyze the scene, using the freeze frame features of video cassette recorder units.) Even to this day, cinema society is still trying to figure it out.

(I wrote, "vulva", but was thinking of the inferior tip of the labia majora specifically. My knowledge of the nomenclature for anatomy must have gotten rusty. Seems like there more words/areas to remember for female reproductive biology than for male reproductive biology.)

Hi, Steven Lowe. You can make this right by submitting a correction to the pertinent goof item, whereby the existing description is replaced by yours, and the type is changed from "continuity" to "incorrectly regarded as goofs".
