Who is the distributor for online content?

For Netflix series and such it's obvious, because Netflix et al. are essentially online TV channels. However, with YouTube videos (ones that don't have some sort of official agreement with YouTube), who is the distributor? Is the production company the distributor? Should YouTube be listed on IMDb as the distributor?

Matt: Based on https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/guide/distributors, I would list YouTube as the distributor in that situation. The guide says that the following are classified as distributors: "... A web site that is a primary host of an eligible Internet title."

What if it's on YouTube and Vimeo? It could potentially be on many sites. Should they all be listed?

Matt: Good question. If the video is on multiple sites, then it seems that at most one of those sites could be considered the "primary host" of the video. I don't have an opinion as to how one would determine which site is the primary host.

If something is on multiple sites then those are all distributors and all should be listed, thanks.
