Who Maintains Dead People's IMDb Pro Content

I've noticed over the past year or so that more and more deceased British TV actors are getting pictures posted on their IMDb profiles. I find it strange that this is happening since many of them have been dead for decades and I doubt anyone would have any profit from their pictures being up there.
I'm asking because I'd love to upload a few pictures of Mark McManus (long dead and entirely unrelated to me) on IMDb but it seems unreasonable that I would have to pay for IMDb Pro for the rest of my natural life for those pictures to stay up. Is there any way to have those pictures uploaded without actually having to pay annual fees for IMDb Pro?

Best wishes,

Hello Mateja Djedovic,

The answer to your question is "anyone and everyone (registered users) can update a person's Date of Death. With suitable proof of course. The proof must be in the form of a URL. From a newspaper or other news source. Or, if you can get their death certificate, you can put that online somewhere and give the URL of that.

As for adding pictures of people who have subsequently died, that's the IMDb's rules. You can only maintain an image if you keep on paying for Pro membership.
