I corrected it. However, the old name now shows up as an aka name on my resume. It is also still used in my last credit. How do I get it to go away?

If you were credited on screen that way, it shouldn't go away. IMDb documents what appears in the credits.

I figured out what was wrong. Somehow the wrong name was added as an attribute after IMDb corrected it. Waiting for IMDb to take it off. What I still can't figure out is how to take the aka off my resume?

IMDb is unlikely to take it off automatically. The assumption, when a Name is changed, is that the name was entered as shown in the on-screen credit roll. Therefore, the original name is recorded by an (as ...) attribute. The existence of that attribute causes an alternate name to be recorded, so that it will be found if someone searches for the name listed on screen, and that alternate name will only be removed once all matching attributes are removed..

So the question that needs to be answered is : How were you listed on screen during the original airing of Money and Violence? If the 'nickname' portion of your name was not included, theni the current listing on IMDb is correct, but if it was shown,  you should submit a correction removing the attribute.

IMDb may require evidence for the change. The best evidence is a screencap of the on-screen credit, as that is really the only thing that shows how you were actually credited.
