Hello!

I have been a member for 11 years and until the past 2 weeks, have NEVER had a message from the Admin re: Terms and Conditions. I am very unhappy about this and am afraid I will lose 11 years of posting history. I have over 6,200 movies listed and CANNOT have them taken from me.

I was involved in a thread whereby posters, who were extremely rude and to be honest, disgusting in the way they spoke, both to one another and about the actor in question. I posted a comment telling them it was none of their business what the man does in his private live and whether or not he is gay! Well, this started a hate campaign towards me and yes, perhaps I should of just ignored them, but I felt I had the right to say my piece, my opinion, given they were giving theirs, along with slandering me and bringing my children into the discussion in a very cruel way.

It's amazing that anyone can report a person, and I know it's up to the Admin to see for themselves, but there should be some rules or you'll be checking reports for years!! This is purely a bullying tactic by them and quite frankly, I am furious. As I said, I've never had a single problem in 11 years, until I disagree with some-one!!

What am I supposed to do? Sit back and wait and hope, while they'll just keep reporting everything for the fun of it all??

I'd seriously like some help here please.
Thank you!

If you mean the warning message you get when about to post, it's just that...a warning. It's automated and stays until the post reported is dealt with. It's warning you that you should probably not do what you were doing which is arguing with trolls (from the sound of it).

A warning to follow rules is no implication you've done anything wrong. It means they have not seen what you've done yet. If they investigate and find you've been falsely reported, it could mean the person reporting will lose their report privileges.

The site prefers you to report the post, then use ignore and not engage or encourage them. If reported, it might be difficult and too time consuming for them to read a bunch of posts and try to decide who is worse. They're more likely to just apply whatever disciplinary action is warranted to all parties. So, it's best to do as they advise...report then ignore.

Good luck!
