This was asked nearly a year ago in the thread Why is a Golden Globe award highlighted before an Emmy award? Are the Golden Globes more important for IMDb? The official reply listed the sequence as :
  • Oscar
  • Golden Globe
  • Primetime
  • Emmy
  • BAFTA Film Award
  • All others in Alphabetic sequence

but did not actually give a reason for this choice.

I can only guess at the reason, but I suspect it is partly because IMDb is the Internet Movie Database and the Golden Globes are more movie-related than the Emmys, which are primarily TV.

Aside from the order on the award pages, the same prioritization is used in the awards summary on name/title pages. If a title or name has a Golden Globe win or nomination, that is displayed rather than Emmy stats.

And indeed it is only the BAFTA Film Award that is included in the summary, not the BAFTA TV Award, despite the fact that they are listed together in the award pages.
