Why are IMDb Pro members shown ads?!

I don't care about a separate Pro app. But for the love of Pete, as a Pro subscriber, when I'm logged into my account, why am I being shown ads?!

I expected logging in to my account to suppress your rather intrusive and annoying ads. But no. Seriously? For what we pay for Pro, you can't suppress the stupid ads?

Removing ads from the non-Pro apps is an interesting idea so we will move this over to the "Ideas" category for future consideration.
