This message goes out to Col Needham, who is supposedly a moderator for IMDb.com, and he has for some reason blocked the recent post that I had just written and posted, entitled "Introductions From A New Messenger!"  Now, rest assured, Mr. Needham, that I will be democratic about the whole thing, and I will not carry on like a banshee or a lunatic or anything like that.  I would just like a simple, straight answer from you: what was wrong with my post to warrant it not getting posted on the board and everything?  That's all I'm asking from you, no more and no less, you get my drift, sir?  Thank you very much for listening, and have a nice day.

Hi Ryan.
Col Needham is the founder and CEO of IMDb.
IMDb is a forum for solving problems people have with their films. It's not an introduction agency nor a chat line.
This may have been one of the reasons your post was deleted because it did not fit the criteria of helping or asking a question about a problem with a film on IMDb.

All the best.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Re: Why are my posts being deleted?.

This time I'm dedicating this post to Walter, who responded to the previous one that I posted in which I asked why did the one entitled "Introductions From A New Messenger!" that I had originally posted get blocked, and he explained to me that this forum isn't a chat room forum or anything like that, but it's a Q&A forum strictly for movie buffs who have questions regarding their favorite movies that need answering.  And so, to you, Walter, I want to say thank you very much for clarifying the misconception that I have made, thinking that this message board forum could be used to chat with other members.  I am very sorry for the misunderstanding, and I will try not to make any more mistakes like this in the near future, okeydokey?  And also, please give Mr. Needham my humblest apologies for my oversight over this as well, if you'd please?
