Why are review endorsements limited to 'helpful' or 'not helpful'? Why not a 'good review' choice as well?

I may not find a review 'helpful' but don't wish to condemn it; in fact, I may wish to endorse it as a good thought..

Hi Phil,

As a means of ensuring clarity among our reviewers and the people voting on reviews we currently limit responses to whether or not a review is helpful.

That said, I am adjusting this conversation to an 'Idea' so we can collect the thoughts of other users and review your suggestion as we continue to improve our site. Thank you for helping us to improve IMDb.

Personally, I've noticed this myself. Whether reviews are helpful or not only show if a review helps someone to choose to watch something - a good review that lists for instance the problems within a movie that people want to know about to stop say, for instance, trigger warnings, can be noted as not helpful and pushed down a review page, thus also taking away the trigger warnings from people who need them to know not to watch the movie.

An idea here would be to have a trigger warnings list on IMDb pages for films.

I've personally wanted a comment section on reviews for a while - to be able to comment on a review that I personally didn't find helpful, but would like to discuss something. For instance, on reviews of The Boy and My Bloody Valentine, the films didn't really come to a close fully, and left a lot of things up to debate and discussion. I'd like to have the opportunity to connect with users on their personal reviews and discuss, see where they thought X, Y and Z happened, rather than going onto a message board and not really getting the feedback I want, through tons of people commenting, or none at all.
