Sorry for the inconvenience.  This is a known issue and it is tricky to provide the best experience due to the way we store some of the information about original titles and local titles.

Until we have a full solution, our recommendation is to go to your site settings at https://www.imdb.com/preferences/general and on the menu "Title display country" please choose "Original" which is the first item on the menu.  This will block the localization of titles which should improve things, even though there will still be some issues.

I am on UK setting on this page.

I dont understand why my desktop shows some titles in spanish where as the iPad does not as I presume they are both using the same.

all the titles are international ones.

No sorry, the desktop site tries to be smarter than it should be in localizing titles, so it is also taking your IP address into account and any settings in your browser which, given you are in Spain, may be mistaken as hints you wish to see Spanish content.  The whole thing needs to be redone on the web site and there are some flaws in the way we model title languages to address too, sorry.

no I wish to see UK content.

Thats why I have set my preferences to UK.

I have approx 20 titles out of 468 which are showing in spanish.

let me know if you wish to see titles.
