Yes we amended it to avoid your email address being live on a public site as I have also done on this message for your own security. Although we do have instances of email addresses being live in the byline field we try to remove these when vetting data for your own protection.

Unfortunately that means you are making the contributor's byline inconsistent. As mentioned in the plot guide, this impacts the Hall of Fame lists of bio/plot writers.

If IMDb linked Bios (Bio author) and Plot Outlines & Summaries (Plot author) etc
to the User Number not a Name
IMDb could keep this history by User Number
this may not impact the Hall of Fame lists of bio/plot writers. ? ?
Users changed their Names but this did not change their message board history
or comments, ratings, etc...

Apologies all, this is not my area of expertise! The data editor thought that this was linked to your user account, not directly by the text in the byline which was why the email address was incorrectly removed from these submissions whereas this would be the correct thing to do elsewhere on the site. I've now amended frankfob's bylines to their original state and clarified this with the data editor so please go ahead submit as normal and ignore my precious comments.
