Why do we have to click on "SEE FULL SUMMARY"? why can't we fit the whole summary without clicking to a seperate page?

Why do we have to click "SEE FULL SUMMARY" & not just have the summary all right there? I use IMDB all the time for reading film summaries for my business, & I find this annoying.

Hi,
To confirm what you are referring to and provide the best assistance, could you provide a description of where you are seeing 'SEE FULL SUMMARY' and the URL of an example?

Thanks in advance!

If you're referring to the plot synopsis that appears near the top of a title page, like this:

I believe that this only happens when a proper (brief) summary has not been posted, and the lengthier summary is used to provide something there. I'm happy with this truncation, because I don't like to scroll down a lot to see other basic information (which is the same reason that after trying to tolerate IMDb with ads for a couple of weeks this year, I scurried back to using my ad blocker.)
