Why does the Rocky & Bullwinkle series on IMDB differ from the dvd box set?

The first three seasons box set lists the episodes in a completely different order than on IMDB. Furthermore, the title of the box set is "Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends." IMDB has no such title listed.

It is most likely a difference in production versus air dates. You'll see this from time to time on series. IMDb uses air date. I would assume the DVD is production date. Also, the title could have changed from the original released title.

Thanks, and to be clear, IMDb uses the original air dates to order the series. The ordering on the DVD is irrelevant, although could be noted as a trivia item on the series page. Borrowing the example in Ed's post below, see https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0303461/trivia?item=tr2053799

Yes, thank you. I've posted a number of factual cast additions or show corrections on IMDB, but I think I'll pass on this, as it seems to be trivial even for trivia. haha.
