Hello. I am wondering why you decided to abruptly close the Box Office Mojo site which, as of this writing, redirects to the Box Office page of IMDB? Certainly, as you folks acquired it in 2008, from that point onward you were free to do anything to it at any time. However, there was a *reason* you decided to acquire it - it was popular with the public, and provided a service not found anywhere else, and you wanted to receive the benefits of that popularity, and have so over the last 6 years. To suddenly shut down a site when you're *not* providing the same service as an alternative is only going to *decrease* public opinion about you, and that translates into less traffic, which then translates into less revenue - why would you sabotage yourself? Is it merely a stunt, to get your name trending at any cost? Or are you really so short-sighted that you can't see you just killed a golden goose? If it was just a branding issue, you easily could have kept it as "IMDB presents Box Office Mojo" and that would've worked far better then the current choice.

As someone who used Box Office Mojo almost since it launched, I'm extremely disappointed that it was unnecessarily (and unceremoniously) removed for no good reason, and I expect a reason if you want to continue having myself (and others) use your other services - stop trying to fix things that aren't broken, and just stick to what was working, and get back to that ASAP.
