Hi Mike,

The profession summary is generated automatically, and includes only broad categories corresponding to the major areas of the database. We're unable to add more specific job titles to the list; we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The specific job titles should be listed in your complete filmography.

This categorization is not meant to imply anything about the relative importance of a credit, or to give a higher profile to one job at the expense of another: it's solely based on our internal data management restrictions.

Our long term plan is to create more specific lists and move credits across them; however, since this is dictated by our internal data management priorities, we can't predict exactly how or when this will take place.

Yes, but there is an issue with how you are listing it. Stage Manager is a DGA position just below an Associate Director. Associate Director is listed under the category second unit/assistant director as it should be. But Stage Manager is listed under miscellaneous crew. That is an error. Whoever created that category does not understand how TV is made. That would be like listing Key Grip under lighting but best boy under miscellaneous crew. This should be fixed.
