Why is it so difficult to edit my own project?

I am a SAG-AFTRA actor, screenwriter, location scout and producer and IMDb contributor and paying member. My projects are in various stages of development. This means things get changed around alot. Why is it so difficult to change a release date, add or delete names, or switch the project from a movie to a series or back again. I want my info to be current, but these things take forever and are too confusing! Its like freaking bureaucratic red tape in here. Just let me fix my own stuff! Who are you to block me from making changes or having to approve information about my projects? Loosen your grip and stop stifling my creativity, amazon! And if anyone is reading this, please change 86 Zombies from a series into a 90-minute feature film and delete the episodes and change the release date to 2021. Thank you and goodnight!

Hi David,

Thanks for your post.

In the future please provide your submission references found from your history here:

https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history

This allows our editors to provide a better explanation of why your contributions may have been rejected.

I have corrected your title to reflect a movie now and have merged the episode listings into the main page to maintain the information - you can submit a new run time or any cast/crew corrections via the Edit page listed at the bottom of the title page.

Thanks,

Joel
