Why is it so hard to get movie casts corrected?

I stick mostly to editing TV episodes but when I watch a movie, I will correct them if they are wrong. I currently have two movies (Dark Phoenix and Shaft) waiting responses from IMDb staff for over a day now and just noticed that a third movie (Zimna wojna) had all cast corrections declined. Why is this process so much harder for movies?

Also, does it seem to take longer than usual to get a response from a staff member? I have been used to getting responses in a day or so but I have a least a couple of threads that are 4 or more days old without any response.
