Ordinarily this would be a local problem, however, with three reports now over two days, it appears there may be an issue affecting only certain locations more widely.

Please can you let us know in which country you are located.  Also what happens if you open an incognito / private browsing tab in your browser, sign-in to IMDb there and try adding to your watchlist there?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled IMDb watchlist.

I am having the same problem. I cannot add any titles to my watchlist. I try to click on the + icon to add the title but nothing happens. My cursor doesn't even change to a hand. I have tried on different computers (both running WIN7). I have tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and IE). Nothing works.

Hi Chris, Shiv, and R.G. -

To help our tech staff narrow down the issue,  can you confirm what countries you are located in?

Thanks Marc.  I'm glad to hear that the Watchlist button is working for you today, I am just waiting to hear back from the others on this thread to determine if this is still an issue for them.

I too live in Canada, Ottawa area, but as noted, the button worked the other day with no changes on my part, I'm using Firefox and Windows 7.
It seems to be completely random titles that don't work

Michelle,

All of these worked for me. I live in the US, so my data point may not be relevant.

Is it possible that ads running on IMDb in Canada and other locations may be interfering with this functionality?

Thanks Dan - Yes, our tech staff suspect this is due to an ad issue.

Hi Marc, Shiv, Chris, and R.G. -

Can you confirm if you are still experiencing problems with the Watchlist button?

If so, can you try taking a screen shot of your entire webpage (our tech staff suspect this is due to a localized ad issue, but without knowing the ad we can't pinpoint the problem)?

I've gone back to all those I last listed and they work now, have tried random titles and everything seems to be working again.
