Why can I no longer activate the function 'People who liked this also liked ...'? What do I have to do to activate it? Thanks. Niels

Hi Niels -

The "People who liked this also liked" feature is working fine for me, the only thing I can think of that might be causing problems is if you are not logged into your IMDb account; please make sure that you are logged into your IMDb Account and check this feature again.

If you are still having problems, please clarify exactly what is happening when you try using this feature, and confirm what IMDb page you are accessing this feature on.

and confirm what IMDb page you are accessing this feature on.

Yep, it is worth noting that some smaller films don't have this feature, so it might be you've just hit a series of them.

Obviously, unreleased titles don't include this panel either.

I believe that I am logged in all the time since no log-in box appears. I open on 'The Godfather' and would then expect to find similar movies but the facility is completely inactivated. Niels

Niels,

If you see your user name in the upper right hand corner of the page, you are logged in. If you see "Login", then you are not.

This is what I'm seeing for The Godfather (1972).

This could be a browser related bug.

Have you tried using a different computer and/or browser?

What browser are you using, including version?
What kind of device are you using: a windows based PC, an Apple PC, tablet or other?
What operating systems are you using: Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, OS X, or other?

Some possible remedies:
1. Clear your cache. (CTRL-F5)
2. Try logging out and logging back into IMDb.
3. Reboot your PC / device.
4. Clear your browser history.
5. Delete the cookies for IMDb; it's possible they got corrupted. You will need to log back into IMDb.

Did any of those work and, if so, which?

OK, but most of that is pretty straightforward - you'd not really need assistance from someone else.

I rebooted, signed out and back in, cleared my browsing history, and still I get a list of all cast members instead of the page with "People who like this..."  I use Windows 7, Chrome Version 54.0.2840.99 m (64-bit).  Any other thoughts?  I really liked this feature!  Thanks for any advice you can give!
