another white racist pig is using racist words on imdb, and i am appalled that imdb people don't even delete their accounts. so those racist pigs can continue their racist insults to all asian people.

and don't tell me the ignore racist pigs, no i won't. and no one should. if we just ignore them several decades ago, black people still won't be allowed to vote.

Deleting accounts only lets the re-register with no other consequences. The site opts to sanction accounts by raising quota (so they can post less frequently) or disabling their accounts, causing them to need to use another form of ID to continue posting (they'd eventually run out of new forms of ID). Having the same account let's sanctions and reports of abuse get tracked.

The reason you get told to report and ignore is because reports from separate accounts mean more. Otherwise it just looks like you're going out seeking things to report (which in this case is exactly what you're doing...often). Plus, posters like that are seeking attention. You're giving it to them. Please stop. It only makes things worse. I strongly. Suggest you stay off the boards if they upset you this much and stop posting the same messages here as it will probably only result in your account being blocked. Staff requests that we report abuse by using the report system.

And, by the way, in your example of a racist post, you're the one who brought up race and baited the other user. You're as much (if not more) at fault for causing the exchange. If you're baiting people to start fights, so you can report the discussion, you're abusing the system.

Further, each time you refer to him as "white racist pig," you're also making a racist remark. A racist is a racist. Categorizing him based on "white" is racism.
