Why is the app for Windows Phone not getting updates

App has not received any updates since 18th June 2012, we're in 2014 now almost 2 years of no updates. and since my last thread was marked as "answered" by an imdb employee who wanted to ignore customers questions rather than fixing I have had to make another thread on the issue:

There have been no updates for the Windows Phone app since 18 June 2012, over 1 year ago. this app doesn't take advantage of the WP8 features such as live tiles and we're also not getting the same features as iOS and Android. The iOS version receives frequent updates, the latest being on 9th September 2013 and the android was just updated in August. Please upgrade the Windows Phone app as this is not fair for me and other customers who use imdb a lot.



Will be waiting on an OFFICIAL post and an OFFICIAL update soon for this app and thread, not just ignored and marked as answered.
