Ronald: There are two issues raised by your post, one of which I agree with and the other of which I disagree with.

If your point is that the MPAA rating for Wild at Heart (1990) is supposed to display near the top of the film's main page, and it isn't displaying there, I agree that that appears to be a problem. Compare the pages for Wild at Heart and Blue Velvet (1986) (I have circled the relevant part of both pages):

Where there is an R rating for Blue Velvet, no rating is given for Wild at Heart.

On the other hand, if you are specifically looking for a PG rating for Wild at Heart, I don't know what country might have given the film that rating. In the USA, Wild at Heart was rated R, and it was only able to get that rating after being edited when it had originally been threatened with an X rating. (See http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/wild-at-heart-1990.)

Hopefully the IMDb staff will comment on the lack of a rating being displayed for Wild at Heart.

Hi Ronald and gromit82 -

I'm not certain why there is no certificate rating displayed on the title page for "Wild at Heart", I have alerted our technical staff who will take a look as soon as they can.  Once I have an update I will post the information here.

Hi gromit82,

I can see the problem - the R rating is now displaying correctly on the title because the attribute has since been amended. Previously it contained the word "cut" in the attribute field which affects the display and suppresses the rating on the main title page. The reasoning behind this is that if a particular cut has been awarded a certificate it is assumed that it won't have been the original rating when released therefore should not take precedence. I hope this helps to clarify the issue.

Regards,
Will
