a woman who was blind; I remember one scene in which she's filling a glass and her finger is in the glass so she can tell when it's full. Eventually it turns out that she's not blind at all, that she's faking, I think because she suspects her husband of trying to kill her or something. I remember there was a scene in a boat, maybe a sailboat (but it wasn't Dead Calm). There was also a fight scene where one guy unexpectedly turns out to be good with his feet. I don't remember who was in the movie; I'm pretty sure it was an American film.

Woman pretending to be blind: first thing springing to mind is THE NIGHT LISTENER (2006) with Robin Williams as a late-night radio DJ and Toni Collette as the fake blind woman. The other clues don't seem to match, however. See http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448075/reference.

Very late reply but I was just looking for this movie also. It's Midnight Crossing (1988).
