I am trying to add my credits to the movies i have been in and can clearly see my face in these titles. When i go to add them and check the tracker for them it says

Reason - Unable to verify.

Your contribution has been declined. We have been unable to verify your contribution. Unfortunately we were unable to accept your submission as we were unable to verify the information provided. If your submission was placed via the IMDb.com Desktop title or name page submission form, you now have an option to provide evidence with your additions, as well as corrections or deletions. The field will become available in the submission form. For all other submissions, please see our Help Site for further information or details on how to contact us.

I dont know why its not allowing me to add my credit when my face is shown and i have been next to the main characters in the films, and also been paid for feature roles in some of the titles. My friends that were also on set for these productions are credited but im not... why?

Just wondering why IMDB wont add the credits to my name.

Please post the 18-digit reference number of the submission so an IMDb representative can review the update and respond.

Chris,

Bumping your discussion to the top of the page is not needed. IMDb representatives review the Get Satisfaction site every day. It may take 24 hours (more or less) for a response.

If you prefer to contact an IMDb representative in private, file a report through the IMDb Contact Us form.

https://help.imdb.com/contact

You'll receive a response from an IMDb rep by e-mail.

Good luck.

If only this were true. I have multiple issues that have not been addressed, including some from December.

Hey Chris - I checked out your submission this is a pretty high profile title so we're not going to apply your credit unless we get some evidence. As the title is unreleased, verification should include proof of employment - this can come in the form of pay stubs, receipts, call sheets or contracts for the production, any mentions within the media of the role on the production from reputable third-party sources.

Please upload your evidence or data somewhere on the web where we can access it (we recommend a free image hosting service like imgur.com), these will need to be publicly available and cannot require an account to login. You can then send us the links/URLs pointing to it via the following process:
    1) Find your original submission in your submission history (https://www.imdb.com/updates/history).

    2) Verify that all the data is still valid. If you need to update/amend the information, you can do so and resubmit the entry.

    3) Tick the box which says "Provide an explanation to assist in processing this submission" and click "Check these updates".

    4) In the Explanation field which appears, you can input the URL (note: If this is password protected, please include the password here.)

    5) Submit the form.

Once received, our editors will review the links you have supplied and use them to re-examine your update. If they can verify that the submission is eligible to be included, they will accept it.

Please note - IMDb filmography is based on the end credits for the title, so if you're not mentioned in the credits when the film is finally released then your role may be changed to 'uncredited'.
