Won't let me edit parents guides anymore

I have been editing and adding things to parents guides for quite a while now but when I went on today to edit one I clicked the edit button and nothing happened. The guide wasn't closed so people can't edit it. I tried to and it didn't do anything. I haven't broken any of the guidelines so I don't know what the problem is

Hello, seems like I'm not the only one to have this ongoing problem. But I can understand how you feel, and I feel sorry for you. :-( However, I can recommend you to try asking help or anything through this site: http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/swikieditapply. This is what I did, I've got a reply, and I did everything anyone at IMDb asked me to do, only to get the same result as you pointed out. However, I did try requesting the ability to edit on parental guides again, and I'm still waiting for an eventual answer from IMDb. :-)

Oh, I almost forgot, this is a problem I've had since yesterday evening. I suspect it could be some glitch or some server problem, but I don't know. But it seems like some other people have some similar issues as well since yesterday: https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/cant-edit-anything-on-faq-or-synopsis-pages.

Well then maybe it's just an issue with IMDb and hopefully it will be fixed soon

Good morning, but yeah, I hope so. Honestly, I was starting to believe that I caused the problem, due to myself logging in and out of IMDb on some different PCs, until I see reports from different users like you, TommyT and Sushi Xtreme. I feel relieved the fact it wasn't me who started the issue, but it's still frustrating anyway. But I can still submit different small details like certifications, distributors and alternate titles on the existing titles, that works 100% perfectly. :-)

I too am experiencing this problem. The edit buttons are there, but nothing happens when I click it.

Hello again, I've just received a reply regarding the edit-button problem. IMDb's data editors will now investigate the matter, and I'll eventually get a response if they find out anything. I did thank them for the reply and gave this "Won't let me edit parents guides anymore" link to them just to let them know about your problems as well. Let's hope everything gets well as soon a possible. :-)
