Is it possible to see the original rating date? Would come in handy to know when you saw/rated a movie (for the first time).

Hi Mathieu De Coensel,

You cannot do this directly on IMDb. However, you can export your ratings and view the file in Excel or Open Office.

1. Go to your ratings page. (Select Your Ratings from the drop down menu under your name.)
2. Click Export this list on the lower right of your ratings page. IMDb creates a Comma Separated Variable (CSV) formatted file.
3. Open the CSV file in Excel or Open Office.

These are the data fields (columns) in the CSV file:
  • position - Order of the title in your ratings
  • const - Title ID
  • created - Date created
  • modified - Date modified (blank for ratings lists)
  • description - Blank for ratings lists
  • Title
  • Title type
  • Directors
  • You rated
  • IMDb Rating
  • Runtime (mins)
  • Year
  • Genres
  • Num. Votes
  • Release Date (month/day/year)
  • URL - Link to title

Here is an example displayed in Excel. You can click the image below to make it easier to read.
