I am having trouble ordering the writer credits on my film 'Bombairiya' - of which I am the director and co-writer. It should have 3 writer credits in the following order.

1. Michael Ward ... (written by)
2. Pia Sukanya ... (co-writer)
3. Aarti Bagdi ... (story)

I have been trying to understand the sequence numbers (orders), but keep being rejected each time. Please don't put the order in alphabetical order but in the order above.

Much appreciated.

I think this is how it should be:

Ward, Michael (written by) 1,1,1
Sukanya, Pia (co-writer) 2,1,1
Bagdi, Aarti (story) 3,1,1

... based on http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/writers.

There are lots of people named Michael Ward in the database, so make sure to include a roman numeral after his name, such as:
Ward, Michael (I)
Ward, Michael (II)

... or whichever roman numeral corresponds to him.

If this doesn't work, please post here a screen capture of what you are submitting.

Good luck!

I think you have the numbers right but it looks like you have spaces in between. Try it as 1,1,1 and not 1, 1, 1.

Uhh... so it didn't come in the correct order. :(
The main writer Michael E. Ward is still being hidden by coming 3rd in the list because of the alphabetisation of the names.

Also, I'm not appearing as 'co-writer' but also as 'written by'. That doesn't accurately give credit where credit is due.

Please help me fix this! I've been struggling for days now!

You only allowed 20 hours for the update to take place. As noted when you submitted the Update, you need to allow up to 7 days.  The submission must be checked and accepted by a Data Manager before the actual Update takes place.

According to the Data Processing Times page Writer credits have only been processed up to 31 August 2015

You may be being confused by the rather poor wording in the Summary column in your Update History page.

The text :
Writers -  3 credits corrected
needs to be read as
Writers -  3 credits [will be] corrected [if accepted]
