Wrong birth date information for Rebecca Koon

She was NOT born in Ireland! Are you confusing her with someone else?  Where did you bet this erroneous information?  I cannot correct this information until the "Ireland" is deleted.  The "help desk" referral does not work.

Correcting existing data

Spotted a Mistake?

If you spot a data mistake anywhere on the site, the process of correcting it is very straightforward:

  • Every name and title page has an 'Edit Page' button at the bottom. Simply click this button, then select the data area you wish to correct from the list of options on the next screen.

You will also see small 'EDIT' labels next to various bits of data on both name and title pages. You can click these to go straight through to the correction form, which speeds things up a little.
The submission requires an explanation for why the data is being deleted, which may include documents indicating the person was not born in Ireland.

You may also contact the IMDb in private through their Contact Us page. On that form, click the following buttons.

IMDb Fan/Contributor questions -> (Select an issue) Names & Biographical Data -> (Select issue details) Delete biographical Data -> (Select additional details) Other -> E-mail

In this case, include the URL of the name page and write a statement why the Place of Birth should be deleted. You can also provide a private URL of any sensitive documents (birth certificate) or a public URL for proof of the person's actual place of birth.

I have done all those things, but get NO response.  This is NOT my place of birth, but Rebecca's, which should be: Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA

I am also trying to find out WHO posted the incorrect place of birth as Ireland, and WHERE they got the incorrect information.

This is confirmation that the birthplace information has now been removed from Ms. Koon's page.  If you are aware of her correct birthdate information, please submit it through our online Update form and our editors will review the information.

I was able to see that the birthdate you submitted for Ms. Koon wasn't accepted because our editors were unable to verify the information.  I wasn't able to view the evidence you provided within your submission, if you'd like to post the verification links here I will be happy to take another look for you.
