Noah Wyle (actor) as "Flynn Carsen" in 3 "The Librian..."-movies.
By looking at the credit-list in the end of all movies it says "Flynn Carson" (with an 'o')...
You can even hear the other actors prenounce the name correct...

In this case, a still of the films' closing credits will be needed to prove that the name was misspelled on the IMDb title's pages.

Okay. I Understand...

And now my confusion is total... ;-)

In the first movie , the character is named " - Carsen" and "- Carson" in the other two...

1.The.Librarian.Quest.For.The.Spear.2004.Credits
.

2.The.Librarian.Return.To.King.Solomons.Mines.2006.Credits

3.The.Librarian.The.Curse.Of.The.Judas.Chalice.2008.Credits

Very strange...

Thanks for responding.

Thank you for the screencaps, Michael Faltz Olsen! So, the spelling in the television series (sequel/spinoff) is different from the spelling in the earlier set of movies? With that in mind, a "crazy credits" item addressing that should be added, and perhaps a continuity goof item as well.

I just realized it's the same with his mother (Olympia Dukakis) : "Margie Carsen" in the first movie and "Margie Carson" in the next. She didn't appeared in the third movie...

In the book/Novel (based on the first movie) : "The Adventures of the Librarian: Quest For The Spear" by Christopher Tracy , The character is ...Carson.

On Wikipedia (searched for Noah Wyle), the character is named ... Carsen in all 3 movies and series...

Mi Michael,

It is IMDb policy to list the character name exactly as it appears on screen, therefore we would want to retain the different spellings on each title page. Jeorj is also correct about the continuity goof and you could add a title trivia item, however this isn't valid for a crazy credit - https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/crazy-credits/GHJCTK5CDW8X3FWY

"This is not the place to record errors in the credits, or unamusing variations over the course of a TV series, or normal information such as company names (unless perhaps the company name is particularly amusing)."

Regards,
Will
