Wrong DOB has actor almost a decade older.

IMDb got an actor's DOB wrong by eight years and two months. He is annoyed, but unwilling to provide personal documents to correct it. Is there any other way to make such correction or for the actor to find out how they got it so wrong in the first place?

I submitted the inquiry on behalf of a friend.  As I stated, he is unwilling to share personal documents.  He is easily reached through his own website, the link to which is included on IMBd.  On his Facebook page He himself has corrected birthday wishes offered on the wrong date. (Any examination of his onscreen work demonstrates the unlikelihood of the incorrect age.)

As mentioned above, our staff will be happy to review the correction you requested for Mr. Pratt upon the receipt of proper verification.  I understand that he is unwilling to provide personal documents, however, unfortunately, without evidence of the correct date our staff cannot make the change. 

If there is other evidence online that references his correct birthdate our staff will be happy to review it, otherwise, he will need to send the proper documented verification.
