Wrong IMDb credits - Submitted changes based on rolling credits (and script) are not accepted by IMDb. Help!

I have the role of Ahmed's Assistant in S02E02 "Enter the Fates" (written in the script, written in the rolling credits, and most especially, that's how it pans out in the show). I've been credited as Jamal's Assistant and it's just not true. I keep submitting changes to IMDb but it's never taken into account. Please help!

Considering that this is just a misidentified character name and you have proof, the change should've been made at least 48-72 hours after the update was submitted. According to the Data Processing Times page, the oldest data in the Filmography: Cast (TV and non-TV) is February 15th. So there is an 8 day backlog in those data sections.

Has the updates been submitted in the past 1-2 days or in the past 2-3 weeks or longer?

If you can provide the 18-digit confirmation number located on your personal Update History page or your email correspondence from IMDb, an official representative might be able to help.

If you prefer to inquire on this matter privately, I'd recommend submitting the information to the IMDb Help Desk. This particular form link is to include any verification sources that you have.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for all the useful info and links, they're very helpful. I believe I'm spoiled, every contribution I submit to IMDb is processed within 24 hours, 36 tops. However, I don't think that's the issue here. I've submitted two credit corrections in the last two days, only one was processed. The one I'm complaining about (Tyrant), I had already submitted in March 2016 and was never processed.

Here are the three contribution numbers that have not been processed for this particular issue (from latest to earliest):

170223-223608-996000 (for this one, I've provided an explanation along with it)
170222-142833-798000
160323-114845-382000

As for the IMDb Help Desk Supply Links page, it says:

"Please only use this form when specifically instructed to do so by by IMDb staff. We regret that, due to the high volume of requests, unsolicited submissions of data via this form can't be reviewed and will be ignored."

It's been less than 12 hours since the last contribution, I hope that with the provided explanation, it'll work this time.

Cheers,

In reference to the Help Desk form, despite the posted rule, any submission that cannot be processed by the usual means can be reported to the Help Desk for assistance. If, for example, a list has been declared locked despite some obvious errors or you wanted to not publicly post sensitive information to a public web site like Get Satisfaction.

Since you've mentioned that the last contribution was 12 hours ago and you've provided a statement in the explanation box, then sending the information via the Help Desk is not necessary.

Thanks for writing back.
