When I pull up the page for "The Edge" from 1997, starring Anthony Hopkins and Alex Baldwin, it mistakenly loads up a trailer for a different movie called "Over The Edge", which is some horrible 1970's teen movie?!?

CliffJ, I'm not sure if your posts were directed at me, or at someone associated with IMDB, but I don't understand what you're saying in them. If I search for "The Edge" in IMDB and select the link given for it, I get to a page with url https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119051/?ref_=nv_sr_2, and on that page are all of the cast, storyline, details, etc for that movie. However, the trailer video that is preloaded into the main slot of the page is not for "The Edge", but instead for a movie called "Over The Edge". So again, I'm not sure what your posts were attempting to point out, as they mean nothing to me, but if you were trying to notify IMDB of where you think this is wrong, thanks for helping.

Exactly. It is not on the list of trailers for the title. So it can only be removed by an IMDb Employee.
Did you know when you see mistakes you can usually just fix it yourself! Do you want to know how?

Hi, Morbius. Thank you for pointing this misassignment out. You may notice "Related Conversations" column to the right or toward the
bottom of this very topic page ("Wrong trailer for 'The Edge'") you've created on
IMDb Get Satisfaction. Those are examples of the same kind of problem
you've identified. You should review the answers provided in those
threads for reference. In other words, you can make the problem right by submitting a report through https://help.imdb.com/contact in the manner explained as with those other cases.

(Note: For the "issue details" selection, the "Remove/update videos" option has replaced "Report videos" option, but they pertain to the same type of inquiry.) For the specific case at hand, the inquiry form would be filled out in such a way as to appear like the following...
What update are you requesting: Re-tag or Re-link
Video type: Trailer
Video ID (full video URL): https://www.imdb.com/videoplayer/vi3478043417
Explanation of the problem: The item belongs in https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079688/videogallery ("Over the Edge") instead of https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119051/videogallery ("The Edge").This conversation is no longer open for comments or replies.
