Wrong country information

I just have a note regarding the actors from my country, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Next to the name of the country on IMDB still stands "Yugoslavia". And that is not correct even since the 1992. That is also for the actors from Croatia.

Yugoslavia was well known in the world, but it doesn't exist anymore by that name (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yugoslavia), so I think IMDB should reffer to it with an "ex".
Hope you'll see to it, because right now someone might think this country still exists as before..

Best regards,

I suppose the problem is, that a lot of these people would be have been born in Yugoslavia. You could always get fine-grained on what you call it, but I think most people who'd care would understand this issue.

You are going to run into similar problems with the USSR vs Russia, etc.

Oddly I had a similar discussion over the Serbian comics Wikipedia entry.

IMDb policy (http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/bio...) is that for Birth/Death entries should use the name of the location at the time of birth/death. In these sorts of situations though they suggest tagging the location with a note regarding the name change.

For example - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0799513/

Born: June 9, 1963 in Zagreb, Yugoslavia [now in Croatia]

If you see any entries that are missing the "now" tag you can submit a correction.
