Mr. Will, who's one of the IMDb staff, insisted on removing a part of my Karkar (2007) review, because it had "offending section".
After my deleted review got re-published, which's something I thank Mr. Will for, I was so eager to know which phrase was removed, rather what was the phrase that sounded dirty or inappropriate. And when I knew, I laughed my heart out !
The part was about describing a character which the star of the movie did before, it was the same character that brought him fame. It appeared in his 2000 movie "Ellemby", as a cross between a "half-retarded and half-stoned guy". These were the 5 words that got my review deleted, and it wasn't possible for the review to get back unless after removing them !
Mr. Will, it is funny to embarrassing degree (and of course it's not me to be the embarrassed one!). Dear, I highly doubted that you watched "Ellemby", it was one of the most successful movies in Egypt (it had 2 sequels, and 1 TV show), and it was based on a "half-retarded half-stoned guy" indeed. Actually, when it was first released, nearly all the Egyptian critics were confused; was the character retarded, or was it stoned. So I saw it as wisdom to call him "half-retarded half-stoned". I believe you have to watch the movie first before removing such truthful and peaceful description.

Here's part of that movie, with its main character, and try to judge yourself by noticing the way how the actor speaks, moves, and reacts.

The IMDb became really funny, but with no laughs if you think about it.

P.S : I deleted my review now, since I'm not convinced that just mentioning the word "retarded", in context of a movie character, is a reason for deleting a review, or even a paragraph from a review. Otherwise, please remove all the IMDb reviews of I Am Sam (2000), and that movie's own page as well. By the way, did you watch I Am Sam (2000) Mr. Will ? Oh, sorry. I forgot that it wouldn't make any difference for you.
