I need to add my title to the IMDb -- is it now a paid service? The design isn't intuitive and makes you go through way too many pages -- meaning, I eventually give up as it's too complicated and a time waster.

Also, the best websites are simple -- you have far too much going on with your site. I recommend breaking it down by purpose. Right now it's just a big confusing mess.

Anyone can add a title to IMDB:
http://www.imdb.com/updates?update=title

The paid for services allow you to add posters, photographs and resumes.

Also I agree about the design (I just mentioned it in another thread), but that is a topic for another thread(s).

There is both a free service (IMDb) and a paid service (IMDbPro)

If you wish to add a title, see "Submission Guide: Adding a New Title".

If you need additional help post a message to the "Contributors Help Board". Many of the members of this board are experienced contributors and are happy to help.

When I click on How do I add myself/my credits to IMDb? on the help page, the link is broken.

This makes me laugh, in a bad ironic way. Obviously they don't want you to add yourself. So much for this site -- I give up.

I'm not really sure what you are doing, if you click this link it starts the process for you (the same with the link at the end of the page DD gives in his first link - I just checked them both to be sure):
http://www.imdb.com/updates?update=title

It is all pretty straightforward and leads you through the whole process (they positively encourage people to add films and try and make it easy for people), the trick to getting it accepted is making sure you provide enough evidence to prove eligibility.

Yes, that link is broken. You should enter through the link above. It was all moved to that section. I have been meaning to suggest they remove that dead link. I'll do that now. It should either lead to the corresponding page, or they should remove it.

Edit to add: broken link is being addressed

Thanks, Triple T for mentioning it.
