I know imdb uses the 1 to 10 star rating with 1 being the worst but 10 being the best. However, there are some films that i have seen that are so horrible they deserve a 0 star rating. I know i could not rate the film at all, but i would still like the film to appear in my ratings collection. Is thee any way you editors on the imdb board could add a zero star rating in the next update? Thank you.

IMDb has been using the 1 through 10 point scale for rating titles (films or television programs) for over 25 years. Much of IMDb's infrastructure depends upon that ten point scale. Providing a zero rating provides little or no additional capability in rating titles. In addition, adding zero rating would effectively invalidate millions of votes.

Providing a zero rating provides little or no additional capability in rating titles.Au contraire. A Zero would make much of a difference. There's a essential difference between "maybe, a little" and "not at all".
