Hello Joe,

How are you doing?
Today, I saw an enhancement in the Chrome Addon for InboxQ and I really liked it so so much. Now, we can see profile of a person instantly. But here I am getting a problem that I am unable to delete the question/s from the list. I made click on the cross button to delete the question and as I clicked cross button, question removed from the list but if I clicked on 'All Questions' link then those questions again bind up with the list which I already deleted before by click on cross button for each question/s.

Please let me know what should I do for that as its making me so so frustrated.

Thanks,
Vaibhav Srivastava

Hi Vaibhav-

Thanks so much for your question and sorry you are having issues. I just tried to replicate the issue you are discussing and couldn't. But, I've asked our InboxQ technical lead to take a look and see what may be causing this frustrating issue for you. I'll comment on this thread as soon as we have a better idea of what may be happening here.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Vaibhav-

Sorry you are having issues. Can you please explain in a bit more detail what this means:

'I am not able to post my mentioned tweets'

I'll continue to do my best to help. But, I hope that you can appreciate that many of these issues appear to be unique to your install for some reason.

Thanks,
Joe

I'm not sure I'm having quite the same problem as the previous Vaibhav, but sometimes I'll answer a question and it appears in my answer box, but it reappears later on in my question list. I'd rather not answer the same question twice, if possible. I'm using Google Chrome, if that helps.

Thanks for the note, Adrian, and sorry for the issues.

We have some handling for preventing dupes on the front end. There are two known cases where duplicates seem to still show up.

Sometimes Twitter users will ask the same question multiple times. These are generally lower quality or spam accounts that try to pepper in legitimate looking Tweets along with their spammy ones. So, while the question may be identical, it is actually coming multiple times from the same user as different Tweets. We have a project on our roadmap on a "mute" button that would allow you to block users like this that repeatedly show up in your question stream.

The other issue is when campaigns have very low volume our system sometimes get caught on old questions and resurfaces them as new. We are also working on determining the best fix for this in a future release.

Sorry that I don't have a better answer on this. If you are seeing some other behavior other than the two items above, please do let me know so we can dig in further.

Thanks again,
Joe

That's a great point, Joe, I just verified and the account in question was not spamming, and here's the tweet that I saw twice: https://twitter.com/#!/robbence/statu...

I should note that it has only happened this once and I think I've been through more than 50 q's up to now, so I'm not too worried.
