There are a couple new reports, and all sorts of exciting new utilities so please head on over to the knowledge base for a full rundown on the what's new, and what's been improved by checking out the release notes: http://www.inflowinventory.com/Knowle...

Now then, if you'd like to take part in this beta test you have several options. If this is the first time that you've installed the software please select this link: http://www.archonsystems.com/Download... while users who wish to update a current copy should visit this link: http://www.archonsystems.com/Download...

Should your computer not be hooked up to the internet please download the Full installer here:

Become a beta tester!

To take part in beta testing going forward you will need to opt in through the program itself as further updates and offers to upgrade to beta versions will be delivered through inFlow itself. To do so you will have to complete the following steps after you've installed this newest version:

1. Go to Main Menu-->Settings-->About inFlow
2. Click "check for updates"
3. You will see a little check box beside "Also check for beta (pre-release) updates," please check this box and click save.

Once you have followed the above steps future beta releases will be delivered to you in the same manner as regular updates. You can opt out at any time by un-checking the same box.

Hi Leonarce (our newest "champ"),

As long as you make a backup of your database before proceeding with the update, you'll definitely be able to revert back to v2.2.3 if you have any problems.

We've been testing version 2.3 internally for a while and are pretty confident in its stability (it even includes some bug fixes, etc. from v2.2). That said, we can't completely eliminate risk from software updates, so I suggest you take a look at the release notes and decide when to update based on whether there's something appealing to you there. Thanks!

Hi Caignoc,

As described in the release notes you can choose to "fill down" within the program now. In the example we're told that you can "fill down" the quantity column. As in the image below I have right clicked on the first line of the document and if I were to choose "fill down" each of the items below where I have clicked would be set to 10.

This will also allow you to choose things like to pick from the same location (as an example) for each row easily and quickly even if it's not your default location. Remember, you don't have to have everything the same, simply keep in mind that anything you don't want to be "filled down" will need to be above where you are right clicking.

Hope that helps!

Hi guys!

I did some test with the Beta version 2.3.0.4 and the Classic template bug still there!

The last edge of the table on the 1st page doesn't show up and the first edge of 2nd page also when printer configuration is for the Letter size (8.5 x 11 inches).

I tried by updating and still the same!
I tried by uninstalling and delete all data of the software and proceed with a new install and new data, but the bug still there!

There's something wrong with this template and if guys need more info don't hesitate to contact me!

Update went smooth with patch, but on one PC we had to pull the update from a USB stick rather then a network share inorder to update the software. Will keep testing the software beta. Thanks.

Hi Siobhan,

Hope you are well.

I sent you the database and log files a week ago but have not received a response. Did you get a chance to look into it?

Hi Shaheed,

Thank you very much for following up. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. There should be an e-mail waiting for you with the specifics of what we recommend for the moment and we will follow up here once more information becomes publicly available (for those forum members who are following this thread).

All the best.

Hi Siobhan,

After our email exchange, you asked me to wait till the final release of the new version.

I tried installing the official released version and installing but am running into the same problems.

What do you suggest I do?

Hi Shaheed,

I'm very sorry for the trouble here. I can certainly understand your frustration and we are working to correct the issue but it's a difficult one to pin down. As it is mainly cosmetic I would suggest that perhaps a custom document might allow you to correct the issue? I will follow up with the issue as it is in our issue queue and ensure that it is noted as still being an issue in the newest version.

Thank you again for following up, and should you wish to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail at support@inflowinventory.com.

Cheers.

Sorry Siobhan but please can you clarify what you meant by custom document? My issue relates to updating to the new version being unsuccessful. Perhaps you have mixed things up?

Hi Shaheed,

You're absolutely right. I do have things mixed up. It seems there was a misfire when I initially loaded this thread and I was responding to the issue regarding the invoice which was listed well above here.

Have you attempted the patch that is listed here: http://getsatisfaction.com/inflow_inv...? If not could you please give it a try and let us know if you see any change in the behaviour of your program? If you're having an update database error I would ask if you could please provide us a copy of your DB at support@inflowinventory.com so that we can attempt to update it on our end.

Thank you in advance and my apologies for the confusion.
